This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, pull an official booking record, or change a court file. The sheriff, police department, corrections agency, or court that created a record must answer those questions.
The Bryan County Detention Center is the county jail contact for local custody records.
Where to Ask About a Record
Use the office that holds the record, and call before visiting because records-unit hours and routing can change. No dedicated BCSO records telephone, public counter hours, or special booking-photo fee was published in the reviewed material.

- For a current inmate, a recent booking, or a retained county booking photo, use the county records page and then contact BCSO.
- For a Richmond Hill incident report, use the city police records route through the City Clerk and openrecords@richmondhill-ga.gov.
- For a Pembroke incident report, call 912-653-4413 or email info@pembrokega.net and ask for the city clerk or open-records custodian.
- For a warrant status question, use Sheriff's Most Wanted, which explains the official person-specific inquiry path.
- For a local case result, use the Bryan docket and the court named on the booking record.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender search. For federal or immigration detention, use BOP or ICE.
Records Requests and Routing
The county's electronic JustFOIA portal is an available route, but the requester should specify Bryan County Sheriff's Office and the existing booking record or photograph sought. The county's general open-records page can also direct a request. Ask for electronic delivery and a cost estimate before chargeable work.
Under Georgia's Open Records Act, an agency generally produces readily available material as soon as practicable or, within three business days, gives a written timetable, cost, and exact exemption citation. The rule does not require an agency to create a report or provide a custom explanation. A city police department may hold the incident narrative while BCSO holds the jail intake record.
State and Federal Contacts
The Georgia Department of Corrections Find an Offender search is for adults in GDC custody, not ordinary county pretrial bookings. GDC lists Inmate Records and Information at P.O. Box 1529, Forsyth, GA 31029, and 404-656-4661 for general inmate concerns. Use GDC's own open-records request for a state-held photo or record.
The BOP Inmate Locator covers federal prisoners and has no booking-photo product. The ICE Online Detainee Locator covers ICE detention. Neither is a Bryan County jail roster.
For a release notification, Georgia VINE is a separate custody-alert service. It does not provide a court disposition or guarantee a photograph.
